Job Title: Regulatory Support Officer, Queensland Health

Role Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our organization. As a Regulatory Support Officer, you will provide administrative support to record keeping, data entry and approval functions of MARU, facilitating improved regulatory practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures to ensure high-quality, safe services and workplaces.
  • Undertake records management, data entry, licensing activities and word processing to maintain efficient records systems and accurate records of patients and medical professionals.
  • Prepare approvals and correspondence as required to meet regulatory obligations under Queensland legislation.
About You

We are seeking someone with:

  • Sound general database knowledge, for example the QScript System, and/or other similar health information or licensing systems and Microsoft Office Suite software.
  • The ability to rapidly acquire understanding of the application of legislation and compliance activities and to resolve problems quickly and effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or as an effective team member, adapt quickly to a dynamic environment and provide administrative support to a multi-disciplinary team.
  • A high level of interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with staff at all levels within the organisation and external clients.
