Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Youth Worker to provide trauma-informed therapeutic care for children and young people who have experienced significant adversity.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable youth and contribute to a dynamic team providing out-of-home-care services.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander children and young people, promoting cultural safety and positive outcomes.

  • Maintaining a safe and supportive living environment.
  • Promoting healthy routines, meals, activities and interests tailored to each resident.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervise and support children and young people in placement.
  • Promote positive outcomes and safety for children and young people.
  • Foster cultural safety through a positive cultural identity within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
