You will work closely with technical disciplines and operations teams to ensure that quarterly plans are developed and executed effectively. Your expertise in planning and scheduling principles, practices, and scenario planning will be essential in delivering recovery plan scenarios for leadership.
As a Specialist Planner, you will be responsible for maintaining planning routines that support execution and reconciliation of actuals. You will also manage operations requests, ensuring that guidance is provided to operational teams to deliver compliance against permit conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, own, and effectively communicate quality quarterly plans for earthworks, drilling, and rehabilitation to operations and technical scope owners.
- Collaborate between technical disciplines and operations teams to ensure optimized quarterly plans are developed and effective for execution.
- Deliver regular schedule baselines and provide recovery plan scenarios for leadership.
- Maintain planning routines that support execution and reconciliation of actuals (daily site scheduling, 2-week plan, and quarterly plan).
- Manage operations requests, ensuring guidance is provided to operational teams to deliver compliance against permit conditions.
- Experience coaching and mentoring team members in planning and scheduling practices and systems.
- Experience in Primavera (P6).
- Expertise in planning and scheduling principles, practices, scenario planning, and recovery plans.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of operational environment and productivity drivers.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
