Healthcare Food Services Assistant

We are seeking a Healthcare Food Services Assistant to join our team. As a Food Services Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing food trays for patient consumption, delivering and serving meals, and maintaining the cleanliness of food service equipment.

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. You will also need to have prior experience in Healthcare Food Services and hold a valid Food Processing Certificate Level 1 or working towards it.

  • Preparation of food trays for patient consumption
  • Delivering and serving meals according to established meal schedules
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of food service equipment
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve excellent patient outcomes

Selection Criteria:

  • Current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (working towards or willing to attain)
  • Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services
  • Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a team
  • Flexible to work a variety of shifts - early/late shifts & weekend work
  • No working holiday visa accepted
