This role requires a proactive individual to perform and manage procurement activities across the organisation, taking ownership of tasks using strong communication and organisational skills to deliver results.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with internal teams to understand and address procurement needs, maintaining relationships with stakeholders, defining supply requirements and providing updates in a timely manner.

A key aspect of this role is to ensure compliance with procurement regulations, conduct risk assessments to mitigate procurement risks, and communicate clearly with stakeholders while identifying opportunities for process improvements.

This position also involves responding quickly to changing procurement requirements, making informed decisions under tight deadlines, addressing supplier issues promptly, and approaching the market to obtain quotes and evaluate offers.

In terms of required skills and qualifications, the ideal candidate will possess equivalent experience in Supply Chain or a relevant technical background, a minimum of 5 years prior relevant procurement experience, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis, and advanced understanding of software procurement systems.

Besides these core skills, the ability to create impactful presentations, prioritise tasks effectively, work independently, and adapt to changing circumstances are highly desirable traits for this position.
