Senior Specialist, Risk Management – Investment Services

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill a Risk and Compliance position within our Investment Services team.
This role will involve working closely with various stakeholders to identify potential risks across our business operations, including financial, operational, compliance, and strategic risks.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and uplifting risk management practices and controls within our organization. This includes adhering to established policies and procedures to mitigate identified risks.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Actively identifying potential risks across our business operations
- Implementing and uplifting risk management practices and controls
- Monitoring the effectiveness of risk controls and reporting on risk exposure to senior management and risk committees
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to risk management
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 5-10 years' experience in governance, regulatory compliance, or legal roles
- Experience working in or providing services to regulated Superannuation/Investment financial services businesses
- A sound understanding and ability to operate within Legal, Risk, and Compliance frameworks
Our ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to provide value-add advice to the Business in respect of risk culture behaviors and consequences.
