Perioperative Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Perioperative Nurse to join our dynamic Surgical Team at Noarlunga Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the operating theatre, supporting surgical procedures, and contributing to exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in evaluative research activities within the practice setting.
- Assess individual patient/client needs, plan, implement and/or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options including other disciplines or agencies.
- Undertake training as required to attain and maintain required competency of skills and knowledge applicable to the role.
- Effective communication skills, including problem solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Demonstrated competence in Perioperative scrub/scout nursing in accordance with the relevant standards.
- Minimum 2 years previous experience in Perioperative setting and has clinical skills relevant to scrub/scout nursing.
