Perioperative Scrub/Scout Nurse

As a Scrub/Scout Nurse at Noarlunga Hospital, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the operating theatre, supporting surgical procedures, and contributing to exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in evaluative research activities within the practice setting.
- Assess individual patient/client needs, plan, implement and/or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options including other disciplines or agencies.
- Undertake training as required to attain and maintain required competency of skills and knowledge applicable to the role.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Perioperative Scrub/Scout Nurse who possesses effective communication skills, including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
Applicants must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
Demonstrated competence in Perioperative scrub/scout nursing in accordance with the relevant standards is also essential.
Minimum 2 years previous experience in Perioperative setting and has clinical skills relevant to scrub/scout nursing is required.
