Primary Care Physician Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Primary Care Physician to join our healthcare team. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting the overall well-being of our patients.

About the Position:
  • This is a full-time position that requires the physician to work independently, making decisions regarding patient care and treatment plans.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practice guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in accordance with established medical protocols and policies.
  2. Conduct thorough physical examinations and order diagnostic tests as necessary to determine the cause of symptoms and develop effective treatment plans.
  3. Prescribe medications and other treatments as indicated by the patient's condition and medical history.
  4. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of residence.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Completion of a residency program in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Experience working in a primary care setting, preferably in a hospital or clinic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual or multilingual ability to communicate with patients and families who speak diverse languages.
  • Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems and experience using EHRs in a clinical setting.
  • Leadership experience, such as serving as a department chair or leading a quality improvement initiative.
