Psychiatric Professional Lead

Royal Adelaide Hospital is seeking a highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to deliver specialist, evidence-based care to consumers with complex mental health needs.
This is an opportunity to provide high-quality clinical services in an environment that values recovery-focused, patient-centred care, supported by a skilled multidisciplinary team.
- Oversee and contribute to the holistic treatment of mental health consumers
- Provide supervision and guidance to junior doctors and allied health professionals
- Participate in quality and safety initiatives
- Contribute to teaching, research, and strategic planning across the Mental Health Clinical Program
- Out-of-hours participation in a consultant on-call roster
About You:
You are a collaborative, highly experienced psychiatric professional with a commitment to quality care and continuous improvement. You thrive in complex clinical environments and bring leadership, empathy, and clinical excellence to every interaction.
Key requirements include:
- Registered Medical Practitioner with specialist registration in Psychiatry (FRANZCP) with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience in clinical leadership and delivering best-practice psychiatric care
- Proven ability to mentor junior staff and contribute to teaching, research, and quality improvement
- National Police Clearance (NPC)
