Administrative Support Specialist, Superannuation

BDO is seeking a proactive and highly organized Administrative Support Specialist to play an integral role in supporting our Superannuation team.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Mail collection, distribution, and filing (physical and electronic)
- Tax Agent Portal administration, including correspondence through ATOmate, lodgement of BAS/IAS returns, and updating client details
- Document and Records Management, including management of client records and database updates
- Registrations and updates through ABR
- SMSF Administration, including collation of client report packages, preparation of engagement letters, sending documents to auditors, and lodgement of annual returns
- Client Billing
- Flexibility to assist with basic housekeeping and ad-hoc reception duties
What you'll need to succeed in this role:
- Previous industry experience in SMSF or accounting is preferred but not essential
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Intermediate/Advanced level in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience using Adobe, Office365, Cloudoffis, and SuperMate will be highly regarded
- Approachable and happy working in a small team environment
