Job Description

  • This is an excellent opportunity for a newly graduated or experienced Occupational Therapist to develop their knowledge, skills and expertise in supporting adults and children with various presentations.

  • The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing occupational therapy services to clients across the lifespan.

  • You will have the opportunity to work with clients with a range of conditions, including motor skills, ADL's, functional capacity assessments, and sensory disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to clients across the lifespan, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation.

  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive client care.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and carers to ensure effective communication and service delivery.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy programs and services.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance client outcomes and service delivery.

Requirements

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA.

  • Current driver's license and police check (or ability to obtain these before commencing work).

  • Full Australian work rights.

  • Experience working with children and adults with a range of conditions, including motor skills, ADL's, functional capacity assessments, and sensory disorders.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
