Garment Technician Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a skilled Garment Technician. We are looking for someone with excellent knowledge of garment fit, pattern making, and garment construction.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the consistency of fit and size across various categories and brands. They will also be required to liaise with suppliers to ensure that garment expectations are being met.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring high-quality products that meet commercial standards
  • Liaising with suppliers to secure 'best fit' practices
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree or qualification in a relevant field (e.g., fashion design, clothing/textile production)
  • Demonstrated experience working in a Garment Technician role with a global retailer
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
