About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to lead our information systems strategy and drive technology innovation. As a Chief Information Systems Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies that align with our business goals.

Your primary focus will be on building resilient systems, delivering secure and scalable technology, and creating AI-driven solutions that spark innovation. With a focus on data-driven insights and seamless digital experiences, you will shape the future of IT in a fast-evolving construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administration and management of a large and complex hybrid AD, Azure AD, and AWS environment
  • Management of extensive M365 implementation and continued migration and adaptation of M365 tools
  • Assistance in the development of best practices, support knowledge transfer, events, and serving as the overall technology evangelist
  • Ensure documentation for all configurations, standards & procedures, and automate where possible
  • On-call support for two weeks per year, via a managed rotation plan outside of business hours
  • Knowledge transfer within ICT and business groups, ensuring successful adoption and usage of solutions
  • Ensure all ICT services adhere to security, governance, and risk policies and procedures
  • Planning, managing, supporting, and completing service migrations for the organization

About You

You will ideally have tertiary qualifications in Computing or a related discipline, as well as extensive experience with core Microsoft server products, including Active Directory (on prem and Azure AD), Exchange, IIS, Office 365, and SQL Server. You'll have experience in supporting Azure services at scale, and supporting Enterprise applications in large organizations, along with hands-on experience with Intune/Onprem Hybrid environment.

Experience with AWS, PowerShell, Python, WSL, or Bash is a bonus. You're someone who manages your time well, takes a logical approach to problem-solving, and brings a design and automation mindset – anything that can be automated, should be.
