About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cultural Environmental Educator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to develop and deliver educational programs that promote Aboriginal cultural heritage and environmental knowledge.

Job Description:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering educational programs for diverse audiences, including local schools and community groups.
  • They will work closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members, elders, and organizations to develop culturally sensitive and relevant programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver educational programs that promote Aboriginal culture and environmental knowledge.
  • Build relationships with local schools, community groups, and other stakeholders to promote the importance of Aboriginal culture and the environment.
  • Cultivate relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to promote mutual understanding and respect.

Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of Aboriginal culture, history, and issues.
  • Experience in developing and delivering educational programs for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
