
Pediatric Care Leader

About the Position
In this advanced clinical leadership role, you will provide expert care and mentorship within a paediatric unit, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation and improvement.
You will leverage your frontline clinical expertise to inform and guide pilot projects, ensuring seamless translation into improved practice.
Additionally, you will support the development of junior nursing staff, fostering a culture of professional growth and excellence.
You will also contribute to service enhancements by analysing data to inform decision-making processes, playing a key role in driving transformative change to deliver responsive, family-centred, and evidence-based services.
About You
- You hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in nursing, with current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA).
- You have postgraduate qualifications or significant experience in paediatrics, demonstrating advanced clinical knowledge and expertise.
- You are passionate about delivering child- and family-centred care and committed to improving paediatric health outcomes.
- You possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and support junior staff effectively.
- You have experience or a keen interest in project work, quality improvement, and implementing new models of care.
- You excel at collaborating within multidisciplinary teams and building positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
