Occupational Therapist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team on a leave cover contract. The ideal candidate will possess advanced clinical experience in Occupational Therapy, with the ability to provide exceptional care to clients with complex neurological needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert clinical services to client/patient groups, utilizing advanced Occupational Therapy practice skills.
  • Complete administrative duties, including liaison with the administration team, reporting of statistical data, and clinical documentation.
  • Monitor patients'/clients plans and outcomes through regular attendance at and participation in clinical team meetings.
  • Active participation in the multidisciplinary team is essential.
  • Initiate timely referrals to external agencies as needed.
  • Utilize an evidence-based, problem-solving approach to clinical care and service development.
  • Promote professional values and ethics in clinical practice.
  • Demonstrate consolidated, current knowledge of research, evidence-based practice in Occupational Therapy and related clinical areas.
  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to clients/patients and/or carers on an individual or group level for both inpatients and outpatients.

Requirements include registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist and a current valid driver's license.

To succeed in this role, you will have advanced clinical experience in Occupational Therapy across a range of specialties, including the management of complex patients within relevant healthcare settings.
