This role offers an exciting opportunity for underwriters with exceptional customer service skills to join our dynamic team in Australia. You will be responsible for meeting production targets within the QLD Accident & Health Division by underwriting new business, renewals, and endorsement changes based on underwriting guidelines and process flows issued by A&H.

Your key responsibilities include evaluating, accepting or declining new business, renewal business, and endorsement requests based on Chubb underwriting guidelines to ensure profitability and growth of the A&H portfolio.

You will contribute to growth targets for renewals both on a premium and policy count basis. Additionally, you will prepare referrals to senior underwriters, providing risk analysis, rating and recommendations.

Achieving thorough and accurate file documentation is crucial for this role. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with producers through regular scheduling and attendance of broker visitations is also vital.

Fostering a culture of excellence in service delivery through effective communication and professionalism with internal and external stakeholders is essential.

The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of the Accident & Health product suite.

Demonstrated skills in underwriting, policy practice, and policy documentation requirements, including terms and conditions as defined by industry regulations are necessary.

Strong written and oral communication skills, negotiation, marketing, organizational, and analytical skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is expected.
