Role Overview

As a Senior Accountant, you will be part of a dynamic finance team that supports the growth and success of a large business. The role is designed for a technically strong, commercially minded professional who can thrive in a fast-paced environment with ongoing acquisitions and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage weekly cash flow forecasting and prepare summaries across multiple entities.
  • Consolidate budgets and forecasts, including detailed annual budgets and rolling reforecast models.
  • Deliver monthly variance analysis and commentary, identifying key performance drivers.
  • Prepare and refine management reports for operational leaders and executives.
  • Undertake ad-hoc financial modelling, scenario analysis, and project-based reporting.

In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, providing post-acquisition integration support, and partnering on business cases to translate them into proforma budgets and P&Ls. You will also track performance against business case targets, including synergy realisation, and play a key role in the transition to a new ERP system.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong technical accounting foundations, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work confidently with large datasets. You should be comfortable operating in a fast-changing, acquisitive environment and be adaptable, commercially minded, and able to balance the precision of financial and management accounting with the forward-looking analysis of FP&A.
