Store Operations Supervisor

About the Role:

The Store Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store. This includes managing sales targets, maintaining customer satisfaction, and ensuring efficient store management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Shift Running: Manage daily store operations to meet sales targets and maintain high customer satisfaction levels
  • Cash Control: Maintain accurate records, handle cash transactions, and prevent theft or loss
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly, efficient service to customers, respond to queries and concerns, and resolve conflicts promptly
  • Staff Management: Supervise staff, conduct performance reviews, and address any issues that may arise
  • Rostering and Stock Management: Ensure adequate staffing levels and coordinate inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Food Safety and Security: Implement and maintain food safety standards and ensure a safe working environment
  • Recruitment and Training: Assist with hiring and training new staff members to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role or equivalent
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of retail systems
