Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with detailed design experience in mineral processing projects to contribute to the development of our team at DRA Global.
Key Responsibilities- Design calculations and equipment selection for applications including bulk materials handling systems, slurry and hydraulic systems, mechanical platework, etc.
- Assist with creation, implementation, and maintenance of project procedures, work practices, plans, and protocols to enhance efficiency.
- Review vendor documentation and incorporate into project designs with emphasis on constructability, operability, and maintainability.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements and current industry codes and standards.
- Deliver projects within schedule, quality criteria, and safety parameters with a strong focus on project outcomes.
- Identify and manage project and technical risks to ensure successful delivery.
About You
- Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience with base metals, rare earth minerals, and mineral processing in a design and construct environment.
- Understanding of relevant Australian and industry codes and standards.
- Strong deliverable focus and ability to plan the work effectively.
- Innovative thinker with ability to work collaboratively and autonomously to meet deadlines.
- A good attitude, team focus, and willingness to learn and adapt.
