Battery Maintenance Specialist

As a forklift battery technician with a nationwide team, you will be delivering critical services to retail brands inside their distribution centres. This role is essential for operational efficiency and limiting downtime.
The specific duties include:
- Changing and maintaining forklift batteries in warehousing environments.
- Working as part of a team to increase customer service quality and implement best practices.
To excel in this role, you will have knowledge of plant and equipment within storage and warehouse environments. Previous experience is favourable but not necessary.
This position requires attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, numeracy and literacy, and the ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team. You will also need to use a range of forklifts and material handling equipment.
The ideal candidate has a focus on providing high-level customer service, a positive attitude towards tasks and interactions, and a willingness to take responsibility and accountability for results achieved.
