Job Description:

Fitch Ratings is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director to join our dynamic team in Sydney.

We are one of the world's top three credit ratings agencies, providing supplementary credit analysis, ratings, research, and commentary to financial market participants.

Our unique approach to credit ratings offers unmatched opportunities for professional growth. We're looking for someone with a deep understanding of securitisation markets and experience in structured finance.

This senior role involves leading the rating of complex new transactions, providing guidance and mentoring to colleagues, and ensuring high-quality document preparation and robust committee discussions.

You will work across a variety of asset classes, including highly complex transactions, new products entering the markets, and new issuers to Fitch, with responsibilities in both new ratings and ongoing transaction monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the rating of highly complex new transactions
• Provide guidance and mentoring to colleagues
• Ensure high-quality document preparation and robust committee discussions
• Manage the team's workflow to ensure all transactions are reviewed on a continuous 12-month schedule

Requirements:
• Deep understanding of securitisation markets
• Minimum 7+ years' structured finance experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
• Excellent time management and attention to detail
• Interest in managing and mentoring staff
