
Supportive Children with Disabilities Social Worker Required

A challenging role is available for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join a supportive team working with children with complex needs.
- You will be working with children and young people aged 0–18 who have a permanent and substantial disability, supporting them and their families through assessment, planning, and intervention.
- This involves undertaking statutory assessments under the Children Act 1989 (Section 17 and Section 47), developing and reviewing Child in Need, Child Protection, and Education, Health and Care plans.
- You will work closely with families to promote independence and improve outcomes, liaising with schools, health professionals, and other agencies to coordinate support.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Qualified Social Worker (Social Work England registered).
- Experience working with children with disabilities or complex needs.
- Strong assessment, communication, and multi-agency working skills.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures.
- Enhanced DBS and full UK driving licence.
