The role of Field Officer involves working in a dynamic team to protect the environment and heritage of New South Wales. You will assist with a diverse range of activities, including maintenance and improvement of park assets, pest and weed control, routine maintenance, construction and installation of new assets, and conservation works.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • A current Australian Class C Drivers licence or equivalent">
  • Ability to obtain and use MR Licence where appropriate">
  • Demonstrated ability and experience to carry out all duties safely">
  • Certification or ability to obtain certification in operating a chainsaw to crosscut or basic tree felling standard">
  • Ability to operate two-way radio">
  • Ability to carry out frontline firefighting duties and support roles">
