Job Title: Senior Procurement Officer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join a State Government agency in Brisbane, Queensland. The successful candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure procurement and be able to provide procurement services for a large-scale construction project invested by the Queensland Government.

The role will focus on a range of procurement and contract management tasks in preparation for the operations phase of the facility. You will also assist the Technical Services Procurement management team to deliver and manage high-risk/complex tactical and strategic procurement across the procurement network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Ensure that procurement and contract management service delivery meets whole-of-Government requirements.
  • Undertake tender management from procurement planning through to contract award.
  • Coordinate contract management and contract administration activities.
  • Provide objective, professional input to the development and implementation of business unit's procurement and contract management plans.

Requirements:

  • End-to-end procurement and contract management skills and experience.
  • Sound governance to uphold integrity through responsible management and use of processes and resources.
  • Experience in SAP.
  • Completion of Queensland Government Level 2 or Level 3 Procurement Certification is highly desirable.

This is a contract position with a duration of 10 months.
