Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is a leading provider of primary health care services to Aboriginal people in the Northern Territory. We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Student Midwifery Trainee to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality midwifery care to our clients.
About the RoleThe Student Midwifery Trainee will work under the direct supervision of a Midwife to deliver midwifery care in acute or primary health care settings. The successful candidate will be supported to complete all essential training requirements, including attendance at face-to-face simulation blocks and clinical placements at Congress clinics and tertiary hospitals.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver midwifery care to clients in acute or primary health care settings
- Work under the direct supervision of a Midwife to ensure high-quality care
- Complete all essential training requirements, including simulation blocks and clinical placements
- Assist in the delivery of maternity care to Alukura Maternity Group Practice clients
