We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Training and Certification Business in ANZ. As the Head of Training and Certification, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive training strategy that drives customer adoption and growth.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Account and Partner Teams to identify, plan, and deliver Training and Certification Programs for AWS Partner and Customer Audiences
- Own the executive relationships with AWS top customers to drive their long-term learning and development and transformation agendas in partnership with AWS
- Collaborate across teams within AWS, e.g., Solution Architects, Product and curriculum teams to establish local programs that deliver downstream impact for the customer and AWS
- Coach and manage a team of Business Development Managers, setting team and individual goals and revenue plans and successfully meet or exceed these as a team
- Coach and manage Technical Training Managers and Trainers ensuring that they are developed and utilized across AWS products and Services and achieve their goals and KPIs as a team
- Maintain a strong relationship with customers to ensure flawless execution of training plans
- Work closely with the AWS country leadership to help plan and execute a comprehensive AWS digital skills development framework across ANZ and influence think big opportunities to drive skills agenda together with the country leadership team
- Create & nurture Training Partnerships in ANZ supporting them to drive business, collaborating closely with the AWS Training partner team in ANZ to expand training through Training partners
- Develop a strategy to cooperate with local and national organizations, including public sector, higher education, skills councils, Public Policy or large non-profit or for-profit organizations to design, build and execute long-term projects supporting Digital Skills
- Evangelize AWS Training & Certification at company and industry events
- Manage and drive all training investment programs in country, including philanthropic sponsoring or funded training projects for customers, AWS partners or a wider audience
- Drive training engagements at the CXO level as well as with Line of Business Leaders across complex organizations
- Build & maintain a pipeline of training opportunities and provide regular forecasts
- Prepare and deliver business reviews to senior management
- 10+ years of building and leading large teams and working in matrixed operating structures experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross-functional teams or equivalent
- Experience in strategic thinking about business, enterprise software products, and new technology platforms and architectures or equivalent
