Job Role

The Merchandise Planner is a vital position within our team, responsible for crafting and implementing department strategies that align with business objectives. This includes detailed financial planning, overseeing the WSSI process, and delivering trade plans in line with the business trading calendar.

As an experienced merchandiser, you will drive ongoing trade activity to maximize opportunities and minimize risks, while managing product availability and launch performance. You will also be accountable for end-to-end stock turn, efficiency, and exit plans within set targets.

You will build strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders, manage and develop a team, and undertake other duties as reasonably required by management.

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced retail environment with a solid merchandising background
  • Experienced people manager
  • Working knowledge of commercial budgeting, WSSI management, range assortment planning, trading, stock & intake management, allocation & replenishment

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and drive department strategy contributing to business goals
