About the Role

The successful candidate will contribute to the design engineering of water and wastewater treatment facilities, reservoirs, pump stations, and conveyance pipelines. You will work closely with our clients to understand their core business needs and deliver solutions that meet their requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Design engineering of water and wastewater treatment facilities, reservoirs, pump stations, and conveyance pipelines.
  • Reviewing design requirements, conducting site investigations, performing calculations, and modeling.
  • Overseeing drafting and preparing reports and specifications.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships and delivering solutions on and off site.
  • Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to achieve project goals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • Experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design.
  • Knowledge of safety in design, constructability, and operational practices and relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes.
  • Knowledge of risk management with the ability to identify project and design-related risks.
  • Experience in managing small to medium engineering design projects.
  • A commitment to working safely and within our company's HSEQ systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills to interact with a broad range of audiences.
  • Ability to travel on occasions as required.
