Job Summary:

Migrate legacy data processes and models into a modern cloud-based architecture. Work collaboratively with a team of experienced data engineers to upgrade and enhance the existing data platform.

  • Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines
  • Provide knowledge transfer and documentation support to internal teams

Key Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Commercial experience using Databricks platforms
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based data engineering tools, including Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Factory
  • A solid foundation in Python and SQL programming for data engineering
  • Experience building scalable data pipelines in cloud environments (Azure)
  • A good understanding of Delta Lake, data governance, and platform architecture principles
  • Prior experience working in regulated industries, ideally financial services or superannuation sectors
