Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Kitchen Hand to join our team at Rowethorpe Catering Centre in Bentley on a part-time basis. The primary purpose of this role is to provide assistance in the kitchen, preparing food, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and present breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as craft a variety of coffee and espresso beverages as a skilled barista.
- Provide kitchen hand services, including food preparation, modification, and serving, while maintaining a welcoming cafe atmosphere.
- Manage cafe operations, including customer orders, cash handling, and inventory control.
- Assist in delivering meals to other Juniper sites when necessary.
- Clean cooking areas and equipment to a high standard.
- Valid WA driver's license
- Valid work rights in Australia
- Experience in a commercial cooking environment or aged care catering
- Certificate 3 in Hospitality and/or Barista Qualification highly desirable
- Safe food handling practices and hygiene standards
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Hourly rate: $28.62 plus 11% super
