Perpetual, a leading provider of fiduciary and digital solutions to the banking and financial services industry in Australia and Singapore, is seeking an experienced Financial Services Specialist to join our Treasury Advisory and Cash Management team.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you work with internal stakeholders and multiple banking institutions and platforms, responsible for opening through to account closure and responding to ad hoc queries accurately and in timely manner.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing Perpetual Corporate Trust bank account opening and closure requests
  • Resolving all account/user/transaction related queries with all Perpetual Corporate Trust banking partners
  • Setting up users in various internal and external systems
  • Maintaining accurate records in internal systems; both electronic and paper-based format
  • Building effective relationships with clients and acting upon client instructions within required timeframes (SLAs)
  • Responding to client enquiries relating to various services, financial products, fees and conditions
  • Identifying and mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with legal and statutory requirements
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in Financial Services with good knowledge and understanding of trusts & related documentation. Your excellent client management skills and relationship management experience will also be essential.

You will have solid understanding of AML and KYC, experience with onboarding and offboarding clients (highly desirable), and experience with foreign currency transactions, global payment formatting, domestic banking platforms, RTGS, & debt directory exchange. Knowledge of Privacy Act obligations, relevant industry codes and legislation will also be beneficial.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including flexible work arrangements, professional development opportunities and access to LinkedIn learning.
