As a Rehabilitation Counsellor or Occupational Therapist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that supports the rehabilitation and well-being of clients across various settings.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans to address clients' needs and goals.
- Provide Counselling and Support: Offer guidance and support to clients to enhance their overall well-being and independence.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate and optimize rehabilitation programs.
- Monitor Progress and Adjust Plans: Regularly assess clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure effective outcomes.
- Develop Essential Life Skills: Assist clients in acquiring essential life skills and coping mechanisms to promote independence.
- Deliver Workshops and Group Sessions: Facilitate skill development and peer support through workshops and group sessions.
- Qualifications: Hold a degree in Rehabilitation Counselling or a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work).
- Registration or Membership: Be registered or a member of a recognized professional body.
- Australian Working Rights: Possess unrestricted Australian working rights.
- Driver's License and Vehicle: Hold a current driver's license and a comprehensively insured vehicle.
