Job Description

This role involves providing expert security advice to clients and partners, with a focus on cloud computing solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT/cyber security, security or compliance, and risk management.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Expertise: Develop and maintain technical expertise in cloud technologies, including AWS services such as EC2, S3, DynamoDB/RDS databases, IAM, Security, Identity, & Compliance, etc.
  2. Solutions: Collaborate with customers and partners to deliver technical engagements, participating in pre-sales on-site visits, understanding customer security and compliance requirements, and proposing and delivering packaged offerings, and delivering custom solution engagements.
  3. Delivery: Engagements include short on-site projects proving the use of AWS services to support new distributed computing solutions that often span private cloud and public cloud services. Engagements will include migration of existing applications and development of new applications using AWS cloud services, and how to ensure security is managed appropriately.
  4. Business Development: Contribute and lead engagements and initiatives to assist with growing the Professional Services Security business.
  5. Insights: Work with AWS engineering, support and business teams to convey partner and customer feedback as input to AWS technology roadmaps.
  6. Management: Contribute to the management of the practice, including knowledge transfer and mentoring.
  7. Quality: Providing assurance services to ensure we understand and manage the quality of security and delivery outcomes internally and externally, including technical activities such as solution review.
