Job Opportunity: Food and Environmental Services Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to support patient comfort and wellbeing by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment in our hospital.

The Role

This is an opportunity to make a difference in people's lives by ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of patients. As a Food and Environmental Services Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service while upholding high standards of hygiene and safety.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Taking patient meal orders and preparing and distributing meals efficiently
  • Recording patient intake and ensuring accurate documentation
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and dining area
  • Dishwashing and restocking linen and stores as needed
  • Ensuring waste removal and disposal procedures are followed
Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australian work rights and ability to meet essential requirements outlined in the Position Description
  • Immunisation and TB screening as per NSW Health Category A requirements
