Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Water Treatment Specialist

This individual will be responsible for ensuring that water treatment equipment is properly operated and maintained. They will also provide instruction to clinical staff on the operation and monitoring of this equipment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in dialysis biomedical/technical field and possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Additionally, they will have knowledge of OSHA regulations and CMS Hemodialysis regulations.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing water treatment equipment, as well as overseeing the repair of other medical equipment. You will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on machines and equipment, cleaning and disinfecting them after repairs, and documenting all maintenance activities.

You will work closely with technical staff to ensure that all equipment and systems are functioning properly and that regulatory requirements are met. You will also participate in training and education programs to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date on industry developments.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain water treatment equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Provide instruction to clinical staff on proper operation and monitoring of equipment
  • Maintain and repair water treatment equipment, as well as oversee the repair of other medical equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment
  • Clean and disinfect equipment after repairs
  • Document all maintenance activities
  • Participate in training and education programs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in dialysis biomedical/technical field
  • OSHA Regulations CMS Hemodialysis Regulations; Knowledge of AmeriWater water treatment systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
