Job Title: Water Treatment Specialist

This role at a leading dialysis care provider is focused on ensuring those with end-stage renal disease receive the best possible care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing instruction on proper operation and monitoring of water treatment equipment, maintaining and repairing equipment, and performing preventative maintenance tasks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing training to clinical staff on water treatment equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Maintaining and repairing all water treatment equipment, dialysis equipment, ancillary medical equipment, testing equipment, and mechanical/electrical systems.
  • Performing regular equipment cleaning and disinfecting, as well as documenting these activities.
  • Evaluating current HD machine and ancillary equipment inventory and making suggestions to ensure compliance with patient ratios.
  • Supporting the quality assurance process by gathering regulatory and maintenance data.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in dialysis biomedical/technical field.
  • OSHA Regulations CMS Hemodialysis Regulations knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fresenius 2008K or T Certification (required).
