Conveniently situated opposite Hamilton State School, we maintain a strong partnership with the school, enabling regular visits that help children explore and familiarize themselves with the primary school environment.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Early Years Lead Educator who has worked as part of an inclusion support program to join our team. This role is part-time with an hourly rate of $27.49 for Certificate III qualified educators and $30.07 for Diploma qualified educators (negotiable).

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with children to create enjoyable recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
  • Provide a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children.
  • Collaborate with the established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
  • Engage in professional and personal development.
  • Promote the service within the local community, adhering to Catholic Early EdCare's expectations and educational philosophy.
Job Requirements
  • Holds a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or working towards) OR an equivalent qualification recognized by ACECQA.
  • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
  • Knowledge and understanding of childcare industry practices, including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
  • A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 months to kindergarten age in a play-based learning environment.
  • Effective workplace communication skills.
