About the Role

The Afternoon Shift Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day distribution and logistics operations of the shift. This individual will work collaboratively with the Day Shift Supervisor and Operations Manager to implement operational targets for the site, support the local deployment of operational processes and procedures, and drive operational excellence methodologies to achieve a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team in a logistics or warehouse environment to ensure efficient operations and high-performance culture.
  • Implement and champion a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Develop and lead a highly capable team, driving best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational targets and support business growth.

Requirements

  • Experience leading a team in a logistics or warehouse environment.
  • Strong understanding of operational processes and procedures.
  • Ability to drive a high-performance culture and champion a strong safety culture.
  • Current Forklift ticket essential; Overhead crane experience highly regarded.
