As a General Medical Physician, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care in a collaborative environment at our esteemed hospital.

With opportunities to establish your own practice and participate in research activities, this position offers a unique blend of inpatient consulting, outpatient clinics, maternal medicine, and peri-operative medicine.

You can choose to build your new practice or arrange an introduction to join one of several existing private practices.

  • Deliver exceptional inpatient and outpatient medical care as part of our multidisciplinary team.
  • Contribute to an admitting roster and work collaboratively with colleagues on patient management.
  • Pursue opportunities in maternal medicine and peri-operative medicine as part of our service mix.
  • Participate in research activities and contribute to governance/service development efforts as appropriate.
Essential Requirements
  • Hold unrestricted specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Be eligible for an unrestricted provider number.
About Our Hospital

We are a 197-bed facility serving the Darling Downs and South West region of Queensland, catering to a catchment area of over 400,000 people.

Our state-of-the-art facilities include a new Intensive Care Unit, two large medical wards, palliative care and rehabilitation facilities, cardiology services, and 11 operating theatres.

Our team consists of experienced and qualified nurses and allied health staff.
