Job Description

Lead a dynamic team of healthcare professionals in providing exceptional care to residents in our 61-bed facility. As Director of Nursing, you will oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality care standards, and cultivate a positive work culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the facility, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective management of staff.
  • Develop and implement quality management initiatives to meet residents' clinical and care needs.
  • Manage staffing levels to ensure adequate personnel are available to meet residents' clinical care requirements.
  • Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement and maintain a safe, high-quality care environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful as Director of Nursing, you must have:

  • Tertiary qualification (Bachelor or higher) in Nursing and AHPRA registration.
  • Experience working as a Director of Nursing / Facility Manager in the aged care sector.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead a collaborative workforce.
  • Demonstrated success in financial management within a complex healthcare setting.
  • Committed to person-centred, relationship-based care that upholds the dignity and respect of all residents.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and full working rights in Australia.
