The Role

The mobile team owns the iOS and Android app that enables Australian businesses to accept payments and interact with their finances. This includes debit cards, savings accounts, invoicing, and more.

We are seeking outcome-driven engineers who can work closely with product managers, designers, and domain experts to translate product requirements into technical designs. You will collaborate with native application teams to build cross-platform solutions for essential services like payment acceptance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business and product requirements into technical designs
  • Contribute to a culture prioritizing ownership from hands-on implementation through testing, deployment, and production operation
  • Participate in designing and implementing robust mobile applications using React Native and Typescript
  • Maintain high-quality code and take ownership of the production operation of features and products

Requirements

  • A strong understanding of core Javascript/typescript and experience building complex mobile applications
  • Experience working in a product-driven team with an ability to understand customer needs
  • Experience with unit testing, static code analysis, and code reviews
  • Experience or interest in the payments industry
