At Green Light, a leading IT services business in the Asia Pacific, we are seeking a seasoned Senior Mobile Application Developer to join our delivery team in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a diverse range of projects in the banking sector, leveraging the latest technologies and methodologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms using React Native, Ionic, or Xamarin. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Performance and Quality: Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Testing and Debugging: Implement testing and debugging to optimize application performance.
  • Deployment: Utilize Docker for containerization and streamline deployment processes.
  • Backend Integrations: Work with Spring Boot for backend integrations and API development.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our mobile applications remain competitive.
  • Coding Standards: Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.

Requirements:

  • Mobile Development Experience: Proven experience as a mobile developer with a focus on iOS and Android platforms.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in React Native, Ionic, or Xamarin frameworks, with experience with testing frameworks such as Espresso.
  • Docker and Spring Boot: Familiarity with Docker for application deployment and understanding of Spring Boot and RESTful API integration.
  • Banking Domain Expertise: Knowledge of banking applications or experience in the banking industry is preferred.
  • Bonus Skills: Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) or Customer Identity Platforms is a bonus.

Salary Range:

The estimated salary for this role is between $120,000 and $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a competitive salary range for a Senior Mobile Application Developer in the Melbourne market.
