Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Security Specialist to oversee the security of our data centres in Australia. With Amazon Web Services as our cloud provider, we are looking for an expert to ensure the security of our operations and applications worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security programs covering personnel, physical, operational, technical, industrial, counterintelligence, and media management.
  • Create, communicate, and manage security requirements at large government-accredited sites.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to promote security awareness and engagement.
  • Manage onsite security forces and classified material programs.
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders to drive security improvements.
Requirements
  • Expertise in physical security systems, including facility security installations, surveillance systems, and electronic access control systems.
  • A proven track record of growth and increasing responsibility requiring maturity, judgment, negotiation, analytics, and influence skills.
  • Ability to effectively employ a third-party guard force in a dynamic operating environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Capacity to influence business partners and supporting teams.
  • Ability to manage 24x7 security operations and respond to emerging operational issues.
  • Credible coordination between technical teams and business stakeholders.
