We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Environmental Planning Consultant to join our team.

\

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about environmental planning and the energy sector. You will have the chance to work on a variety of projects, including renewable energy and sustainable planning.

About the Role

  • \
  • Provide technical expertise and advice to clients on renewable energy development, due diligence, and planning approval processes.\
  • Assist in the preparation of planning applications and post-approval activities, including Environmental Impact Statements and Statement of Environmental Effects.\
  • Support the team in preparing sustainability strategies and advice to clients across various sectors.\
  • Develop client relationships by building trust, providing quality advice, and managing expectations.\
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance and business plans.\
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals on multi-disciplinary projects.\
  • Identify and raise issues that may impact fee estimates and/or project delivery timelines.\\/ul>\

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • \
  • A tertiary qualification in Town Planning, Environmental Science, or related discipline.\
  • Minimum 2 years' experience within the Town Planning industry, preferably in the renewable energy and sustainability sector.\
  • Demonstrated appreciation and understanding of sustainability and resilience principles.\
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.\
  • Ability to manage competing demands and prioritize tasks effectively.\\/ul>\
