Job Title: Data Centre Operations Manager

This position oversees all aspects of the data centre's critical physical infrastructure, ensuring that all work performed within the space is done to high quality and without impact to internal/external customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing teams of engineering technicians in all facets of their career and driving improvement projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing daily operations of the data centre facility, including coordinating with third-party vendors to ensure adherence to contracted SLAs.
  • Managing the operations budget and expenditures effectively and efficiently.
  • Providing after-hours on-call support as the Data Centre Facility Manager for the region, responding to issues and managing investigation, mitigation, and recovery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, with experience in managing technical teams and driving process improvements. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in data centre operations and management.

- Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
