As a key professional in an organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management of security risks. This involves assisting in the development and implementation of security policies and frameworks.
The role encompasses undertaking security risk assessments, conducting briefings, and developing and implementing policies relating to projects. This includes conducting security assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle and reviewing and updating security policies as required.
A successful candidate will have experience in delivering evidence-led risk management advice, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to prioritize tasks, organize their work, and operate in a fast-paced dynamic environment often working to tight timeframes.
The ideal candidate will possess qualifications in or sound awareness of security risk management processes and demonstrated capacity for discretion and a high standard of security awareness.
Key responsibilities include advising on security matters throughout the project lifecycle, assisting in developing organizational policies and procedures, and identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks.
The role also involves coordinating personnel security vetting requests for projects and preparing reports on security activities during project delivery phases.
