Financial Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Risk Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing pragmatic risk advice to various stakeholders and partnering with the business to provide guidance on complex incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide risk advice to stakeholders to ensure a safe and efficient operational environment
  • Partner with the business to provide guidance on complex incidents and areas of weakness
  • Support the identification, escalation, and reporting of operational risk and compliance matters
  • Conduct change impact assessments and assess the impact of changes on business activities
  • Manage root cause analysis of issues and incidents, identifying and implementing control improvements

Requirements:

  • Understanding of commercial banking business
  • Prior commercial lending experience (knowledge of CCL and commercial lending end-to-end processes is an advantage)
  • Knowledge of operational and compliance risk frameworks is advantageous
  • Proven ability to work with stakeholders to drive positive outcomes
  • High-quality written and verbal communication skills, report writing, evidence gathering, and data capabilities
