About the Role:

Ventia, a leading operations and maintenance services organization, is seeking a skilled Transmission Linesperson to join our team in South Australia. As a key member of our Transmission & Distribution business, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, timely, and cost-effective completion of work on our transmission lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and construction tasks on various structure types of transmission lines at voltages from 66kV to 500kV.
  • Lift, climb poles, and trench for the installation of underground cable, or work in overhead buckets.
  • Install and repair poles, cables, and electrical equipment related to overhead transmission systems.
  • Ensure public safety and electrical crew safety through personal protection equipment and emergency procedures.
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including bucket trucks.
  • Complete electronic and paper reports and records.

Requirements:
